About me
I’m a Business Intelligence professional with over 15 years of experience helping companies turn raw data into actionable insights. By day, I work in the field of business intelligence, specialising in data visualisation, analytics, reporting, and automation, using tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, and Python. I’ve also developed strong expertise in SQL, DAX, and M Query, alongside hands-on data engineering with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and C#. More recently, I’ve explored solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
Along the way, I discovered that I especially enjoy the ETL process - working with data at a granular level and transforming it into something actionable. I noticed that many smaller businesses need the same level of insight but often lack the resources of larger enterprises - they can't afford the full-time resources necessary for time-consuming data transformations. I saw how effective Python was, how fast it could extract and transform data and how there was a library for practically anything.
That’s why I started Reykholt Data: to provide clear, practical and affordable data solutions that help organisations make smarter, faster decisions. Most of all, it’s work I’m genuinely passionate about - the kind of project I can spend hours on without realising it!

I keep things simple, transparent, and focused on value. Whether it’s a one-off project or ongoing support, my goal is always to deliver solutions that are cost-effective and genuinely useful for your business. I enjoy this work - Python programming and data problem-solving are both a passion and a hobby for me - which means I approach each project with energy and curiosity, keeping the process engaging, productive, and rewarding for both sides. And if a challenge comes up that requires me to learn something new as a Python developer, that’s on me - not you. You’ll never be charged for my personal upskilling during any project I undertake.
